Spay & Neuter Assistance
We are a non-profit organization committed to reducing the pet overpopulation in Grant County, Washington through a spay/neuter assistance program which provides coupons for reduced cost spay/neuter surgeries.
Please note: We only offer spay/neuter assistance in the form of discount coupons good at any of the area's veterinarians.
Buddy Program
It is a mission of Hands 'N Paws Animal Assistance to preserve the human-animal bond by providing financial assistance, resources and support to those pets in need.
As part of that mission, The Buddy Program has been created to help low-income families care for their pet and enable them to be able to stay with with the family.
We will try our best to help as many pets as we are able, but please keep in mind that there is a high volume of people asking for help and we are limited by the funding we have available.
Veterinary Assistance
It is a mission of Hands 'N Paws Animal Assistance to preserve the human-animal bond by providing financial assistance, resources and support to those pets in need. As part of that mission, the Veterinary Relief Fund has been created to help low-income families care for their pets by offering help with both Urgent and Preventative Veterinary Care. Urgent Care Funds are for those who need emergency, life threatening saving veterinary care.
Microchipping
Microchipping is one of the most important steps you can take to protect your pet—it greatly increases the chances of them being returned to you if they ever get lost. $25 microchipping is available at any of our events or at our facility (upon our opening). You will need to fill out a microchip form. Each microchip includes lifetime registration with a national database. Microchipping is a quick, safe, and permanent way to help reunite lost pets with their families.
TNR Services
Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) provides a life-saving, effective solution for managing our community cat population. There are countless reasons to embrace and promote TNR—it’s not only kind, it’s smart. Through our partnerships and resources, we support TNR efforts and can help connect you with trusted local programs dedicated to protecting community cats. Together, we can create a more compassionate future for the cats who call our streets home.

Surrendering a pet is never an easy decision, and we understand the emotional weight that comes with it. At our rescue, we are here to support both you and your pet with compassion and understanding. When you surrender to us, your pet will receive the care, love, and attention they deserve while we work to find them a safe, permanent, and loving home. If you’re considering surrendering your pet, please reach out to us—we’re here to guide you through the process with dignity and respect.

If you believe we have your lost dog or cat in our care, we’re here to help reunite you as quickly and safely as possible. We know how important your pet is to you, and our goal is to ensure a smooth and stress-free return. To begin the Return-to-Owner process, please fill out our return form and submit the required payment. This fee helps cover the basic care your pet received during their stay with us. Proof of ownership will be required to complete the process. Let’s get your furry family member back home where they belong.
