With over a decade of experience in animal welfare, Scott has always had a passion for helping animals in need. Behind the scenes, he plays a vital role in keeping Hands N Paws running safely and smoothly.

From facility maintenance and repairs to ensuring a safe environment for our animals, staff, volunteers, and visitors, Scott is always ready to lend a hand wherever he's needed. His dedication, hard work, and commitment help make our shelter a safe and welcoming place for everyone who walks through our doors.

Stephen is a dedicated Animal Care Technician who is passionate about providing compassionate, quality care for every animal that comes through our doors. He is committed to Fear Free handling techniques, ensuring each animal feels as safe, comfortable, and stress-free as possible during their stay.

Whether he's caring for daily needs, helping animals build confidence, or simply taking the time to earn their trust, Stephen's patience and kindness shine through in everything he does. His dedication helps create a positive experience for both the animals in our care and the team around him.

Shelter Manager & Dog Trainer

Heather is passionate about giving every animal the best care possible while helping adopters feel confident and prepared for life with their new companion. Whether she's working with shy dogs, supporting volunteers, or guiding families through the adoption process, Heather is committed to helping both people and pets succeed.
Her dedication to animal welfare and education is at the heart of everything she does.
Favorite part of the job: Watching frightened animals transform into confident companions and seeing adopters fall in love with their new best friend
